Face to Face
Blaming vs Taking Responsibility
Analyze yourself in following situations:
When you are late for an appointment, do you blame your alarm clock, traffic signal or do you accept the responsibility and make change in yourself?
When you are not healthy, do you blame your surroundings, situations or do you accept your responsibility and make changes in your eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle?
When you are not good in a skill or language, do you blame the environment or make strong determination to learn whatever it takes?
When you are not able to complete a task, do you search for good excuses or you take responsibility to complete a task. When you are blaming, you are saying you are powerless, helpless and can not change a situation. Do you want this to be your lifestyle; I think certainly not. B. When you accept responsibility, you are conveying to yourself
You are going to make best effort to change a situation. When you do something whole heartedly results are always good.
You are going to spread positive energy and people will treat you and respond you positively.
And most importantly, when you take responsibility for your actions/ work, then only you can expect others to take responsibility for their work. When you take responsibility, you stop blaming others; when you stop blaming others, you feel most positive and energetic; and when you feel positive and energetic, you realize all your potential to create wonders.
